In 2011, Rabbi Sol Solomon and playwright David Lefkowitz created the stage show, SHALOM DAMMIT! AN EVENING WITH RABBI SOL SOLOMON.
A lighthearted look at modern Jewish-American life in story and song, the show was developed and first performed at the University of Northern Colorado, then workshopped at NYC’s Richmond Shepard Theater, then brought back for two weeks to NYC’s Roy Arias Theater, and then triumphantly returned to Colorado in a revised, one-act format. The later versions all feature musician Richard Shore as music director and keyboardist.
The first, longer version of SHALOM DAMMIT! was captured on video at the Richmond Shepard Theater in summer 2012.
